changed the head to something i like better.

OK So I think I'm going to put a Chinese Dragon in the background.  not sure if I want to make it realistic or tattoo-like yet tho.

I've been promising my friend Abby for a while now that I'd paint her portrait.  I'd attempted it before, but didn't like the results.  Finally whipped this up tonight. Hope she likes it.

I'm trying to get some work done so I'll have a decent portfolio for job submissions.  I want to get into doing book covers.  Here is a work in progress piece that ive been doing. (clickies for bigger versions)

and after a little more work on it and trying to make the composition so that she's not directly in the center.

Still trying to come up with a cool background.
